Ian : Her personal emails attracted me however her lack of photo failed to instantly capture me.

Suzannah : Over the last six weeks we have seen each other very regularly and met each other's families and circles of friends. What first attracted you to your current partner?
Emma : Tim was just really easy to talk to from the very beginning and had a great sense of humour. His first message to me was so different to the ones I'd had from other members, it was really light hearted and funny and he didn't spend ages going on about himself like other men had. He was just so unassuming and friendly and that really made me want to get to know him better.
Tim : Emma's photo and description about herself were what initially attracted me, and when we started to e-mail each other, it was obvious that she had the same values and sense of humour as I do. She seemed very kind-hearted, and the fact that we were able to talk and joke so easily before we had even met, made me very hopeful that we would get on when we met, which proved to be the case!

Emma : Tim first contacted me via the site and we chatted there for a few days to begin with, before going on to exchange e-mail addresses. We used to e-mail each other a few times a day and got on really well - we found it very easy to talk to each other and we had a very similar sense of humour! After about a week, I suggested meeting up and we actually met for the first time ten days after Tim first got in touch.

Daniele : At first it was his looks, as I was sifting through all the most recent guys online. Then, once I had viewed his profile I liked the fact that he was into different things like cooking, 60's music, playing guitar and writing short stories.
Oliver : I was attracted to Dani as she had similar taste in music to me and she sent me lovely messages.

John : Very chatty, had a lot in common. Picture was very nice too.

John : After an initial email, we chatted over the sight for a couple of days and instantly knew that we had a lot in common. We eventually swapped personal email address and carried on the correspondence, swapping photos and then eventually, mobile phone numbers. After texting for another couple of days, I finally plucked up the courage to ask Suzanne out for a drink the next day. We were both busy that evening so planned to go for a coffee that lunchtime instead. Looking back, meeting for a coffee was a great way to chat and get to know each other with out steadily falling into a drunken stuper.
